2013 Camp Card turn-in

On April 17, at 630pm we will have a combo District Meeting and Camp Card turn for all units that will not be going to spring camporee. We will meet in Borger at a location to be determined. Please bring the turn in form, the top seller form, and any remaining cards you may have along with the money. I am asking each unit to send a representative so we can discuss important upcoming topics with relation to the district and council. Please email me for more information

Service Hours Idea

In both Pampa and Borger there is a cool program called Snack Pak 4 Kids. This program provides food to disadvantaged children so they can have nourishment over the weekends. The program usually meets once or twice a month to prepare the snack paks for the schools and is looking for volunteers to assist. Please contact:

Barbie Schroeder ( )

Borger, Texas 79007

Suzanne Pingel ( )

Safe & Drug Free Schools Coordinator/Homeless Liasion/LBSW

111 E. Harvester

Pampa, Texas 79065

I believe in this program and think it is a great way for your units to get some quick and easy service hours. Please consider do this to help the children of our communities.

Contact List

I am requesting each unit send me an updated list of your unit leader, unit committee chairman, and charter representative. Please attach current phone (day and evening) as well as email so I can put together an updated unit directory to give to all AW district unit leaders.

Family FOS

I still need to schedule your unit’s Court of Honor or Blue & Gold. If you haven’t scheduled one yet, please email me with the date, time, and location. Family FOS is a very important part of our council’s operation…it helps to serve the Adobe Walls district as well. Our district goal this year is $8200.00. PLEASE help me by making sure I know when your next family activity is so we can give our family FOS presentation.
