District Committee Meetings

The next District Committee Meeting will happen on Thursday, March 13th, 2014 at the Perryton First Christian Church at 7:00 p.m. They happen every second Thursday of the month, unless extenuating circumstances causes the District Committee to reschedule. All Chartering Organization Representatives, Unit Committee Chairpersons, and Executive Officers are invited to attend these meetings. It gives you a chance to come hear what’s going on in the Lone Wolf District, and, we would love to have you! Email James Hayes, Jim Lear, or myself to find out more information.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Matt Y. of Troop 104. He recently passed his Eagle Board of Review. Matt Y. is the son of Jim and Renee Y. of Turpin, OK. He is a sophomore at Turpin High School, plays many sports, and serves in many leadership roles both in school and in Scouting. He maintains a high grade point average and plans to play college ball upon graduating in two years. We wish him luck in his many endeavors!

Pack 142 Pinewood Derby

Pack 142 in Goodwell, OK, held their Pinewood Derby on February 16th, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and scouts alike enjoyed the festivities. Many of the cars were very inventive and colorful. The scouts had an incredible time. A cub scout from pack 143 also participated as he had never ran a car in a pinewood derby before. Thanks for inviting me to your event, Pack 142!
