District Cub Scout Camps

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers who made our District Camps successful.  Scouting is all about camping and without you, this would not have been possible.  All the Scouts had a great time and it was because of your desire to make the program the best it could be and even more importantly, fun!  Thanks so much!

NYLT 

Thanks goes out to Roland Nunez and his staff for a fantastic NYLT Training for our Boy Scouts.  Roland has been working to put together this training for months and months and the result of that will pay off once the Scouts go back to their units.  This course provides unit leaders with Scouts who have learned about leadership and what it takes to be a leader.  Scoutmasters can and should utilize these new youth leaders as much as possible.  Thanks again to Roland and his staff for a job well done!

Cub Scout Recruiting

We will begin our Fall Recruiting effort as soon as school is back in session.  In the mean time, please put on your schedule that August 8 from 9am to Noon, the Council will conduct the Program Kickoff and School Night Training for all leaders.  We really would like to see all units represented.  There will be more information provided to you soon but put that date on your calendar so you don’t miss out.
